Why?

We, Anna and Sarah, have been working in the world of film and theatre for decades (yikes) and found a lack of resources for costuming women beyond a certain size. So, instead of waiting for everyone else to fix their stock, we decided to be the solution.

What if you don't have what I need?

At Mainely Curves we do reserve some time to make costumes (if you need it, so will someone else.) So if there is a specific piece your team doesn't have, send us a message and we'll see if it's a possibility for us to make!

What's Up With Your Sizing?

We carry a variety of clothing types in our collection:

1. Slow Fashion - These are made by us or someone we know

2. Second hand modern clothing

3. Vintage pieces

Modern clothing has a different sizing language than a vintage piece, or a piece made to measurement. This is why you will see multiple sizes present on our listings. The Vintage and Pattern sizes will be higher than what your modern clothing size will be. For a rough reference, here's how they correlate:
