About Mainely Curves
Mainely Curves is a boutique costume rental company that focuses on building and stocking costumes for mid and plus sizes. While designing for musicals, plays, and movies throughout New England, the Mainely Curves co-founders experienced a lack of resources for women beyond ‘straight size’ (which is almost 70% of all AFAB bodies, btw). The disparity is even more prevalent with vintage wear. This is why at Mainely Curves the majority of costumes is size 12+ so everyone can feel (and look) like a star on stage.

Anna Halloran
Anna Halloran began sewing at seven years old, and costuming at 16. Now in her thirties, and just as active in the theatre space as she was in her teens, she is eager to make a difference for her fellow performers. A firm believer that size should not factor in any part of being on stage, she is eager to help level the playing field when it comes to dressing artists.

Sarah Kennedy
Founder of Out There Theatre Company and well known creative, Sarah Kennedy is a power house of talent and drive. Her contributions to the Theatre and Film Industry in Southern Maine and beyond bring joy to everyone who experiences them.
